Celebrating 35 Years : ServiceTec Marks Anniversary
This month, ServiceTec, the leading independent provider of managed IT services to airports worldwide, proudly celebrates 35 years of unwavering commitment to service excellence and technical innovation. Founded in 1989 in the UK, ServiceTec’s journey has been marked by a steadfast dedication to its founding vision: blending a service-oriented culture with technical expertise to deliver unparalleled solutions.
From its inception, ServiceTec has embraced the mantra of “Service Culture, Technical Excellence,” a philosophy that continues to drive its success today. Over the past three and a half decades, the company has grown beyond recognition, but held onto its unique culture and an unwavering commitment to “do what we say we are going to do”.
- 1989: ServiceTec was established in the UK
- 1996: The company expanded its operations beyond the UK, embarking on its first international venture by providing services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).
- 1998: Recognizing the growing demand for its services, ServiceTec launched its North American region, laying the foundation for its global presence.
- 2007: ServiceTec strategically divested its non-aviation business in the UK, sharpening its focus on serving the aviation sector.
- 2014: Continuing its expansion trajectory, ServiceTec started working in Norway, marking its presence in a sixth country worldwide.
- 2023: Now with over 200 dedicated employees, ServiceTec reaffirmed its position as a leader in airport IT management, serving clients across the globe.
