Minneapolis Saint-Paul International Airport (MSP) is one of the most valuable economic generators in the region. MSP is also an award-winning airport, handling 38m passengers per year across two terminals. The airport is currently undergoing plenty of change as the airport operator reimagines the entire MSP experience. Every step of the passenger journey is poised for improvement, including parking, check-in, dining, shopping, passenger amenities and baggage claim. Passengers will enjoy new restaurants and retail stores, thoughtfully designed restrooms, more on-site parking and an overall smoother visit.
ServiceTec is proud to have been a part of the team supporting the passenger journey through MSP since 2005 and the services we provide form an integral part of these improvements. An opportunity has arisen within our onsite team for an IT Service Delivery Manager, reporting to ServiceTec’s IT Service Director, who is also based at MSP. ServiceTec’s scope of work covers all aspects of IT within the airport’s operations; including public safety, corporate offices, common use, displays and onsite dedicated service desk. In addition, our responsibilities extend to the 6 reliever airports located in the vicinity of MSP.
To be successful in this role the applicant needs to have:
- Comprehensive understanding of incident management within a mission-critical environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL, principles of best practice and CSI.
- Understanding of the Service Desk function, including the need for standard responses to specific types of call.
- Ability to write and update standard processes.
- Ability to create and recommend reporting metrics and KPIs.
- Understanding of root cause analysis
- Supervisory/managerial experience of a team working to a shift pattern
- Ability to obtain, and retain an airport security badge
