ServiceTec has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Airport IT Technician to support mission-critical IT passenger processing systems on a weekend rotational shift pattern. The part-time IT Technician will also be required to cover sickness absence and/or holiday cover for the Monday to Friday shifts, including working bank holidays if it falls on a weekday. It is anticipated that the average hours worked could be between 25-30 hours per week, which includes the weekend working hours but may be considerably more during holiday periods. There is also the requirement to be on-call and respond to issues. The onsite hours to be covered are between 05:00 and 18:00 on Saturdays and 05:00 - 20.00: Monday to Friday & Sunday. The shifts are 8hrs with a break.
The work involves providing deskside user support, resolving issues, performing preventative maintenance, installations and project work.
Due to the shift hours involved, ideally, candidates should reside close to Oslo Airport.
Individuals must have a technical mind, IT knowledge, excellent customer service skills and have had first-hand experience of dealing with a variety of customers in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
